Understanding the Slice

The clubface being open to the swing path is the true cause of the slice, but as we’ve seen the outside-to-inside swing causes the real problem and confusion for most golfers. In many cases the outside-to-inside swing actually contributes to the clubface being open at impact. We are first going to look at a variety of faults that can cause you to swing from outside-to-inside. Then we will look at the factors the cause the clubface to open.
